About Kristen
Kristen Lewandowski is an editor and writer who enjoys providing thoughtful comments and suggestions that help writers tighten up their phrasing and improve their clarity, flow, and consistency. She has spent the past 10 years editing and writing on topics related to public health, medicine, medical education, pedagogy, and nonprofits and associations, but is very comfortable working outside her specializations and reviewing material on a variety of subjects.
Kristen established her freelance business in 2016. Prior to that, she served as an editor for a leading public health nonprofit; worked in communications at a medical school; and wrote for a teaching, learning, and research center. She has edited thousands of pages of written work, including:

Kristen received her B.A. in English from Boston College and her M.A. in English from Georgetown University. She is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and ACES: The Society for Editing.
